Stakeholders of the local mental health system have stressed the need for improved service coordination, streamlined access, increased program and system responsiveness and an expanded range of community based services. Their feedback prompted four local organizations to establish a legal partnership so they could pool their resources to create multi-agency mental health teams. The partnership, Mental Health Grey Bruce, was established in 1999 and includes the following organizations:

· Grey Bruce Community Health Corporation
· Grey Bruce Health Services
